PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio system which can interact with a user. SOLUTION: This audio system comprises a medium where music software composed of at least music data and identification data showing which category the music data belong to is recorded and audio equipment which reproduces the music software recorded on the loaded medium. Further, the audio equipment is equipped with an input means for the music software, a read-in and control means for data, a memory, a display, and a voice output means, and messages, choice information, and the information of correspondence among the kinds of music and the identification data which are needed to interact with the user are written to the memory.
