<p>A herbicide composition comprising an uracil compound represented by the general formula (I): (I) [wherein Z is halogeno or cyano; A is oxygen, sulfur, or NH; R1 is hydroxyl, C1-C7 alkoxy, or the like; and R2 is hydrogen or methyl] and at least one organophosphorus compound selected from the group consisting of N-(phosphonomethyl)glycine, agriculturally acceptable glyphosate salts and ammonium DL-homoalanin-4-yl (methyl)phosphinate; and a method for weeding by applying an effective dosage of the herbicide composition to weeds. According to the invention, weeds can be effectively killed particularly in orchards, corn fields, soybean fields, cotton fields, and non-crop land.</p> |
