The invention relates to a treatment material which is intended for application to or in the outer walls of buildings, in particular to or in walls comprising building materials containing limestone, characterised in that it contains, in alkaline aqueous solution, at least one active substance selected from the group consisting of caseins, gelatins, hydrolysates and/or proteolysates of proteins and/or of polypeptides, collagen, lyophilisates of collagen, lipoamino acids obtained by acylation of amino acids formed from collagen and/or keratin, these substances being present in the form of alkali-soluble salts, and the material also containing a retention agent which is polymerisable in air and at room temperature and is intended to keep the abovementioned substance or the abovementioned substances in the surface layer of the wall of the building, where it or they are allowed to penetrate, to a process for the preparation thereof and to the use thereof. |
