The table carries a support for a work piece. The support (3) is born in the table frame (10), is pivoted by a motor about a horizontal pivot axis, and may be locked in position. The support is born on a horizontal pivot shaft (5), which is held in pivot bearings (9) of the table frame, and connected to a motor pivot drive. The drive has an electrical gear motor (13) and a reduction gear (17). The support has a frame (4) with cross bars (6) at right angles to the pivot axis. A stop rail projecting over the top frame level is located on one long side of the frame.
