SURGICAL METHOD FOR TREATING THE CASES OF DEFORMING GONARTHROSIS

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves accessing an area of internal tibial condyle below the articulation fissure in subperiosteal way to form trepanation opening. Spongious metaphysis bone is cut through the opening in parallel to the articulation surface in the whole plane so that internal surface of the cortical layer is reached. Unconstrained cortical autograft deprived of periosteum is taken from below the trepanation opening. The graft is introduced into spongiotomy area via the trepanation opening retaining 1-2 mm above the bone surface. EFFECT: eliminated venous congestion in subcartilaginous zone; normalized intrabone pressure; prolonged remission period. 4 dwg
