<p>A disc recording and/or reproduction apparatus wherein a shutter provided on a cartridge having a case containing an optical disc is automatically opened/closed and the opening/closing mechanism does not affect the cartridge after loading is complete. When a DVR cartridge (51) is pulled by a tray (13) into a recording/reproduction position, a shutter opening/closing mechanism (65) arranged for the cartridge (51) at the apparatus side is relatively moved, thereby opening/closing a shutter plate (100) of the cartridge (51). After the shutter plate (100) is opened completely, the shutter opening/closing mechanism (65) is retracted by a cam (85) to be separated from the cartridge (51).</p> |
