The system has at least one machine readable storage medium for storing data and a container (2) for a fluid medium. At least a side surface (4) of the container is curved. A releasable connection is provided between the data storage medium and the container. This side, at least, is formed of glass, ceramic or porcelain. The curved part of the container has an area (5) for the data storage medium to be releasably connected e.g. by means of a holder element (6). The machine readable medium may be e.g. a CD, DVD or MD. Independent claims also cover a container.
