FIELD: electric transport; current collectors. SUBSTANCE: current collecting insert for electric vehicle is made in form of plate with base and working surface diametrically mating with symmetrical end face parts arranged at angle of 30-60 degrees to horizontal. Working surface is made in form of chute, and end face surfaces are saddle-shaped, oval parts of saddle in horizontal plane being arranged at angle of 10-30 degrees to longitudinal axis of symmetry of insert. EFFECT: reduced wear of contact inserts, decreased dynamic loads. 3 dwg
