The invention concerns a backing girder for stabilizing boats, for leisure use in particular. The support girder comprises a bracket system and a control device, as well as floaters or other additional elements, such as leeboards and/or wheels and/or rockers. The invention is characterized in that the bracket system is provided with multiple functions and comprises a cross strut (1) and two crosspieces (2), and the crosspieces (2) are adjustable, via articulated mechanisms (3), to modify their angular inclination relative to the water surface, and are capable of being tilted upwards on the cross strut (1), or mounted folded down laterally along the boat sides.
