<p>The invention relates to a torque transmission differential for motor vehicles, said differential comprising: a casing (10) which is selectively rotated around axis y-y'; a drive wheel axle (20) with axis Y- Y'; a gearing (30) which is disposed inside the casing (10) and which transmits the rotation movement from the case (10) to the drive wheel axle (20); and a muzzle (40) which is solidly connected to the casing (10) and which is disposed between the gearing (30) and the internal surface (12) of the casing (10). Said gearing (3) generally lies within an ellipsoid of rotation and the muzzle (40) is more or less in the shape of an ellipsoid of revolution which is concentric to the gearing (30).
