MPLS DATA TRANSMISSION IN PACKET-ORIENTED MOBILE RADIO NETWORKS

The invention relates to a method for packet-oriented transmission of information between terminals, connected by means of wireless connections via base stations to a transport network, whereby the transport network comprises routers. The exchange of information between the terminals and the routers occurs on an MPLS basis, in which each terminal is assigned a unique MPLS label. The routers thus tunnel the information packets, using either MPLS or other protocols as tunnel protocol. Where MPLS is used, the terminology employed is label stacking.
