PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel transport box wherein a housed article can be taken out from the side by unsealing a side surface of the box, and in addition, which can withstand a movable load even after the housed article is taken out. SOLUTION: Front and rear, right and left side pieces are connected with four edges of an approximately square bottom piece through respective folding lines. At the same time, a lid piece is connected with the outsides of front and rear, one pair of side pieces which are confronted with each other. Then, on both sides of another pair of side pieces which are confronted with each other, a sleeve piece, a reinforcing piece, and a bonding piece to form a corner post at four corners of the bottom piece are connected in order through folding lines. Then, on the sleeve piece, a waste line is provided in parallel with front and rear side pieces, and a first sleeve piece and a second sleeve piece are divided. The reinforcing piece is superposed on the inside of the sleeve piece, and the bonding piece is pasted on the internal surfaces of the right and left side pieces being confronted with each other to form this transport box. In addition, a perforation for opening the side is formed on the folding line or in its vicinity between either one of the front and rear side pieces and the bottom piece.
