PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner 1 for a vehicle capable of making a blowoff temperature colder or warmer when cooling and heating are performed by sucking inside air. SOLUTION: An air leakage port 21 is provided for leading a part of blowing- off air adjusted in temperature in an air conditioning unit 3 to an inside air suction port 5. As a result, the temperature (suction air temperature) of air taken from the inside air suction port 5 of a blowing unit 2 becomes cold and warm at the time of cooling and at the time of heating, respectively, and thereby the blowoff temperature can be made colder or warmer. By improving cooling and heating efficiency, working time for a compressor can be reduced at the time of cooling.
