PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paired anionic ion forming reagent and an anionic ion pair forming reagent system which do not seriously trouble an element selective detector or a detecting device after a combustion product is burned. SOLUTION: The paired anionic forming reagent, the anionic ion pair forming reagent system, an in-plant formation paired anionic forming ions and an in- plant formation paired anionic forming ion system are constituted of at least one anion and at least one paired ion with a volatile combustion product only containing O, S, or a halogen atom or their combination as a hetero atom.
