PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ITO powder with good dispersibility, capable of easily forming a film by coating, and giving a coating film having high light transmittance, low haze together with high electroconductivity, and to provide a transparent electroconductive coating film. SOLUTION: The ITO powder containing 2 to 20 wt.% SnO2 is provided as a mixture of acicular ITO powder and granular ITO powder in a mixing ratio of 2:98 to 98:2. Preferably the acicular powder has 0.5μm or less major axial length and 0.1μm or less minor axial length, with axial ratio of 1.5 to 10, and the granular powder has 0.05μm or less size, and both are micronized. This transparent electroconductive film is formed using the mixed ITO coating material and characteristically has a film resistance of 10 kΩ/(square) or less, and 80% or more transmittance and 2% or less haze by haze measurement.
