PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet ejection device capable of making the stacked amount of sheets of paper stapled by a stapling component close to the true stacking amount and allowing easy handling after they are taken out of a sheet accommodation part. SOLUTION: The sheet ejection device 10 is equipped with an aligning means A to make alignment of sheets 3 of paper ejected, a stapler 35 to staple the sheets with staples, and the sheet accommodation part 37 in which the sheets 3 are stacked, wherein the arrangement includes an ejection position shifting means B to shift the ejection position of the stapled sheets 3 to the accommodation part 37, and this means B is composed of a pair of guide wings 13A and 13B to drop the sheets 3 into the accommodation part 37 while they are flying in the direction opposite the sheet ejection direction T generated by its movement from the left-right aligning position to the sheet dropping position and a trailing edge aligning member 27 which interferes with each falling sheet 3 and shifts the ejection position.
