SOLUTION: The color image forming apparatus of a tandem system is provided with at least two or more image forming stations in which electrifying means 42 (K, C, M, Y), the developing means and the transfer means 45 (K, C, M, Y) are arranged at the circumference of an image carrier, and a color image is formed when a recording medium P adsorbed by a recording medium holding belt 30' passes through each station. A plurality of image carriers 41 (K, C, M, Y) and the recording medium holding belt 30' are mutually positioned to be attached to an image carrier cartridge 40 attachable to and detachable from the apparatus main body. Developing means 44 (K, C, M, Y) are attachable to and detachable from each image carrier 41 (K, C, M, Y) attached to the image carrier cartridge 40. |
