PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the arrangement of external piping, reducing manufacturing cost of a combustion type heater. SOLUTION: A plurality of hole parts 225 formed with female screws mounted with bolts 233 are provided in a circumference direction on a mounting base 224 formed integrally with a casing 223. As a result, mounting angles of connecting pipes 230 can be properly selected by properly selecting the hole parts 225 for mounting the bolts 233 and fastening the bolts 233. Since the casings 223 having different mounting angles of the connecting pipes 230 are not required to be prepared, the arrangement of hot water piping (external piping) can be simplified, reducing manufacturing cost of the combustion type heater 21.
