PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for overlapping a packet to increase the speed of the packaging procedure, and to minimize and simplify a device necessary for performing the packaging procedure. SOLUTION: When the packets 2 are continuously fed along a wrapping pass P, the packets are first aligned to corresponding packaging material sheets 13, the packaging material sheets 13 are folded around the packets 2 to form a tubular packaging body protruded in the axial direction from the packets 2 in the form of two tubular protruded parts. These tubular protruded parts are folded to form the closed overlapping, and before the corresponding tubular packaging bodies are completed, each tubular protruded part is folded at least in a partial manner on the corresponding packet 2. |
