PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide mechanism of a load receiving deck of a containing type load receiving deck elevating/sinking device preventing occurrence of impact sound by temporarily communicating pressure oil in a rod side chamber of a slide cylinder with an oil reservoir when sliding the load receiving deck from a containing position to an operating position. SOLUTION: In this containing type load receiving deck elevating/sinking device, the load receiving deck is liftably mounted on a deck via a link mechanism by an elevating/sinking means and the load receiving deck is longitudinally constituted slidably between the containing position below the deck and the operating position in the rear of the deck by expanding/contracting of the slide cylinder. When the load receiving deck is slid from the containing position to the operating position by expanding/contracting of the slide cylinder 61, the pressure oil in the rod side chamber 61a of the slide cylinder 61 is temporarily communicated with the oil reservoir T for a predetermined time and then the slide cylinder 61 is expanded/contracted by feeding the pressure oil to a piston side chamber 61b and the rod side chamber 61a of the slide cylinder 61.
