PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain joint for an eaves soffit being excellent in water sealing properties and being easy to slide for adjustment between itself and a leader after it is mounted on an upper floor. SOLUTION: The drain joint for an eaves soffit is mounted through a space between the upper floor 5 and the eaves soffit 6 of the lower floor and comprises a drain joint body 1 having a mounting part 12 provided to protrude above a cylindrical chute 11, with an external thread 14 formed on the outside of the chute 11; a connecting and fixing ring 2 having a locking part 22 provided to protrude from the exterior wall of a short cylinder 21 and having an internal thread 24 formed on the interior wall side to engage the external thread 14 of the cylindrical chute 11; an inner cylinder 3 having a water sealing member 3a mounted on the outer periphery of the lower part thereof; and an outer cylinder 4 vertically slidably fitted around the inner cylinder 3.
