PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pant-type disposable diaper to be changed sanitarily after the excretion of feces and put on easily and comfortably, excellent in the absorbency and leakage-proof, and in the appearance. SOLUTION: A leg elastic region along the peripheral edge of an leg opening part has an elastic member 71 from the abdomen side part A toward the crotch part C and an elastic member 72 from the back side part B to the crotch part C. The elastic members 71 and 72 consist of gathered parts 71a and 72a and extending parts 71b and 72b respectively, and have end parts on the sides of the diaper. In the pant-type disposable diaper, the maximum distance W3 between the abdomen side part side edge of the extending part located closest to the abdomen side and the back side part side edge of the extending part located closest to the back side is smaller than the total (W1+W2) of the maximum disposition width in the gathered parts of the elastic members 71 and 72.
