HYDROGENATING DESULFURIZATION CATALYST OF HEAVY OIL, PRODUCING METHOD THEREOF AND HYDROGENATING DESULFURIZATION METHOD OF HEAVY OIL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogenating desulfurization catalyst which hardly causes the lowering of catalytic activity due to coke deterioration and removes sulfur compound in a heavy oil fraction at a high efficiency for a long period, a producing method of the hydrogenating desulfurization catalyst and a hydrogen ating desulfurization method of heavy oil using the hydrogenating desulfurization catalyst. SOLUTION: This hydrogenating desulfurization catalyst is made by depositing a metal selected from Periodic Table group VIA of 8-25 mass%, a metal selected from Periodic Table group VIII of 1-8 mass% and lithium of 0.05-0.8 mass% (all is expressed in terms of oxide referred to catalyst) on an alumina carrier and has the acid point where heat of adsorption of ammonia of 100-200 kJ/mol measured by micro calorimetry method is generated in the range of 270-380μmol per catalyst 1 g.
