PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a heating compact capable of speedily adjusting the moisture content of the heating compact low with simple manufacturing equipment for manufacturing the heating compact with excellent heating characteristic. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the heating compact comprises a paper making process for manufacturing a raw material composition comprising oxidized metal powders, a water holding agent, a fibrous material, electrolyte, and water, and forming an intermediate compact, and a drying process for drying the intermediate compact formed in the paper making process while holding and pressing the intermediate compact on the front and rear surfaces. |
