PURPOSE: A crank angle sensor mounting structure is provided to prevent defects between the crank angle sensor and sensing ring, while maintaining uniformity of quality of the sensing ring. CONSTITUTION: A sensing ring(4) having a sensing hole(4a) is arranged in the area of a flange(3b) of a torque converter(3) which is coupled to the center of a crank shaft(C) through a center piece(3a) so as to receive driving force of an engine through a driven plate(2) coupled to the crank shaft. A crank angle sensor is mounted to a transmission housing(1) so that a gap(L) of approximately 1.0mm is formed between the crank angle sensor and the sensing ring. The sensing ring is welded to the area of the flange which forms an outer surface of the torque converter.
