摘要 PURPOSE: An airtightness structure of a combustion chamber of a vehicle engine is provided to prevent leakage of combustion gas caused due to the fluttering of the piston ring occurring during the vertical movement of the piston. CONSTITUTION: An airtightness structure comprises a primary sealing member(10) including first and second tooth portions(11,12,11',12') which are formed at a ring groove(1) of a piston(P) and top and bottom of a compression ring(R) and engaged with each other so as to maintain airtightness; and a secondary sealing member(20) for sealing the side surfaces of the ring groove and the compression ring. The secondary sealing member includes a stopper(21) press fit to the side surface of the ring groove of the piston; and a movable end(22) coupled with the stopper, which maintains airtightness with respect to the compression ring by pressing the compression ring through the elastic force of a spring(23).
