PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode with a new shape having superior productivity and contributing to high capacity. SOLUTION: A mix containing either a positive electrode active material or a negative electrode active material is applied on one main surfaces of a plurality of collectors formed into an almost rectangular shape, and a mix layer is formed thereof. Nonapplied parts, in which the mix is not applied, are formed at both ends in the lengthwise direction thereof. One collector is connected to another adjacent collector at one end in the lengthwise direction via a connecting part, in which the connecting part is set adjoining to the nonapplied part and the mix is not applied. The electrode composed like this makes it possible to laminate the plurality of collectors into a multi-layer and makes it possible to collect current from a lead welded on only one end of the collector. |
