PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable viewing device that is excellent in usability. SOLUTION: Mark information showing how far a program is viewed is recorded in a memory card 3 in the case that viewing has to be stopped because some sort of task occurs while the ground wave digital broadcasting is received and subjected to video recording on the memory card 3 while the program is viewed, or the like. In subsequently performing program production from the memory card, the program can be viewed from an unviewed position on the basis of the mark information.
