PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk driving device which is capable of realizing the constant recording of data information and video information to the disk and the constant reproduction of them from the disk and also is capable of reducing noise to the outside at the same time by suppressing swung rotating vibration to be generated when the disk is rotated regardless of the magnitude of the mass eccentricity of the disk. SOLUTION: A vibration absorber and an automatic balancer are simultaneously mounted on the optical disk device and the disk device is constituted so that after the rotation of the disk is ascended till a rotational frequency at which the swung rotating vibration of a subframe is magnified at the time of the spinning up of the disk by the resonance of the vibration absorber and the position of the balancing member incorporated in the automatic balancer is moved to a desired position, the speed of the spindle motor is made to reach a target rotational frequency.
