PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a process for meeting environment, in an image-forming apparatus having an induction heating apparatus for generating an eddy current, in a heating member by generating a high-frequency magnetic field from a coil and promoting self-heating of the heating member based on eddy current losses and a fixing apparatus for fixing a developer image on a recording medium by the self-heating of the heating member. SOLUTION: The induction heating apparatus can determine that a temperature exceeds a ready temperature, interrupts an IH ON signal to a high-frequency on/off circuit 116, inhibits a high-frequency current from the high-frequency on/off circuit 116 to the coil 105 and prevents a heating roller 58b from overheating and igniting, when continuous on-time of the IH on-signal at warming-up is error-detecting time determined by environment, such as a room temperature and a connected state of options (power settings) or more. |
