PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which the visibility of a display screen is improved to a plurality of viewers. SOLUTION: When '1 screen' of display mode is specified, a display control part 18 transmits an instruction to a driver 16 to control the operations of motors 14a and 14b and moves an arm section 12 to a prescribed position so that a folding part 50 is not formed for a display part 10. Then, the section 18 conducts a control to display a display screen using the entire display region of the display part 10. When a 'left:right=1:1' display mode is specified, the display control part 18 transmits an instruction to the driver 16 to control the operations of the motors 14a and 14b, moves the section 12 to a prescribed position and forms the folding part 50 at a prescribed position of the display part 10. Then, the section 18 controls to display the display screen in two respective display regions formed on both sides interposing the folding part 50 between them. |
