PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase freedom to design a fixed shade provided in the vicinity of the front part of a movable shade, in a vehicular head lamp structured so as to change light distribution of a lamp by moving the movable shade. SOLUTION: The front end part 22Aa of the shade body 22A of a movable shade 22 is formed into a semi-spherical shape. Thereby, the maximum radius of the rotational locus of the shade body 22A is made small in comparison with a conventional case wherein it is formed into a cylindrical shape. A long hole 22Ab extending along the rotation surface of the movable shade 22 is formed in the front end part 22Aa. Thereby, interference between the shade body 22A and a discharge bulb 18 is prevented even when the movable shade rotates, and the maximum radius of the rotational locus is made smaller. Thereby, the shade body 28A of a fixed shade 28 can be formed so as to have a small size, and a large disposition space of the fixed shade 28 allowable within a range wherein reflected light from the reflector 20 is not unnecessarily shielded can be secured. |
