PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable and highly efficient charge pump circuit which can be easily designed and manufactured. SOLUTION: This charge pump circuit has transistors M1 to M4 , each of which is connected to a diode and has a cascade configuration connection to each other, a clock signal and an inverted clock signal are supplied alternately to these transistors via capacity elements C1 to C4 , and the transistors M1 to M4 are of a depressed type. By making the gate length of the transistors C1 and C2 on the input side longer than that of the transistors C3 and C4 in the post stage, boosting efficiency is improved, and by also making a single device configuration makes designing and manufacture easy and improves reliability.
