摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prediction method of thermal environment that can predict a surface temperature by reproducing a design for a building, a tree and the like. SOLUTION: The prediction method of thermal environment first forms a space component in a three-dimensional space. The space component is cut at each height of a given interval to produce coordinates of a generated plane figure. The plane figure is divided into given meshes, each of which is provided with regionally unique information. For each mesh, a heat balance is computed and a surface temperature is calculated. According to the surface temperature, a thermal environment evaluation index is calculated. The space component is a building, a tree and ground. The heat balance computation is based on the calculation of a quantity of direct solar radiation, a quantity of reflected solar radiation, a quantity of sky solar radiation, an atmospheric radiant quantity, a sensible heat flow and a long wavelength radiant quantity. The thermal environment evaluation index is a mean radiant temperature and a heat island potential.</p>
