PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single-lane traffic signal capable of reducing the congestion of vehicles and reducing gas and noise emitted from the congested vehicles and wastes of a time and fuel by changing red and blue signals according to the presence/absence of the vehicles in the single-lane traffic section. SOLUTION: These single-lane traffic signal facilities are used in the single- lane traffic section where the vehicles bidirectionally travel on the single lane. When there is no vehicle on both entrances A and B of the single-lane traffic section, the signals 3 and 4 at the both entrances are turned into red, and when a vehicle sensor 1 senses a vehicle coming to one entrance A in the single-lane traffic section, the signal 3 of one entrance A is turned into blue, and the signal of the other entrance B is turned into red by the current from the vehicle sensor 1, while the current from the vehicle sensor 2 of the other entrance B is cut off for a prescribed time.
