PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire alarm for a dwelling house capable of improving the external appearance even if installed in a ceiling. SOLUTION: This fire alarm for the dwelling house is provided with a detection part 1 determining by detecting abnormality and an alarm body 2 issuing an alarm in the abnormality, and the alarm body 2 is provided with a pulling cord 3 capable of stopping the alarm once by being pulled in the abnormality and checking the operation in the normality. The alarm body is provided with a projection part 4 retaining the pulling cord 3 in its attachment side.
