PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object selecting method for enhancing convenience on displaying a structural object so that intuitive grasp of structure becomes easy even in a small display area in the case of object selection among the tree structural objects. SOLUTION: A structural conversion and display processing part 1 displays an object to be included in a tree structural object D1 in a virtual space 2 as a master object, the master object is displayed as a road and the tree structural object is displayed by displaying an object belonging to the master object as a slave object and displaying the slave object as a road to be branched to any of left and right from the road of the master object in the case of displaying the tree structural object D1 in the virtual space 2, thus, the structure of the tree structural object can be intuitively grasped even in a small display area and complicated operations such as development are dispensed with. In addition, an avatar operation processing part 3 generates an avatar in the virtual space 2 and selects the object at its transfer destination when the avatar is transferred to the object displayed in the virtual space 2 by a user's operation.
