PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device for photo-curing resin capable of generating converged light beam when light-curing dental synthetic material is filled and industrial light-curing resin is cured. SOLUTION: An incident numerical aperture (NA3) for light emitting diode light incident onto the incident end of a light guide is reduced less than an effective numerical aperture (NA2) at the incident end of the light guide specified by the relational expression of NA2=(d2/d1) NA1. Where the incident diameter of the light guide is d1, outgoing diameter is d2, and the numerical aperture for fiber wires is NA1.
