PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve that a main station and sub stations connected by a wireless or wired network can perform bi-directional position indicating, communicating, and indicating retrieved information relating to positions, using position indicating method and system by which positions of the sub stations that are network-connected with the main station can be indicated. SOLUTION: The position indicating system provides a means to notify the main station of positional information after self positioning over a network, and another means to indicate the self-positioned positional information, and other positional information by other sub stations of which the main station notifies, and, if necessary, by the main station on a browser map.
