PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planar display device which does not increase the number of circuit wirings. SOLUTION: An active matrix type planar display device is characterized in that a driving circuit 3 is provided with a digital-analog converter 309 for converting a digital display signal into an analog signal by using the predetermined number of reference voltages X- Ref. (X=R, G, B), a reference potential setting part 307 for outputting the predetermined number of reference voltages X- Ref. (X=R, G, B) to the digital-analog converter 309, and a multiplexer 306 for multiplexing the reference voltages in time-division manner and outputting them to the digital-analog converter 309. |
