PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cut off prank calls in a telephone set. SOLUTION: The telephone number of a caller making a prank call and the name of the caller are registered in a table 4A in a memory 4 of a telephone set 10. When the telephone number and the name of the caller, of which the telephone set, is informed from a called side exchange 200 when called are registered in the table 4A, the number of times of the calls and the date of the transmission are stored in the table 4A which corresponds to the caller the telephone number of the caller and the caller as a call history. When the number of times of the calls reaches a predetermined number, the telephone number and name of the caller in the table 4A, and the call history, such as the number of times of termination and the date of the call are sent, from a voice synthesis circuit 9C to the sides of external lines L1, L2 as a voice message, of which the caller is informed. Further, by printing the stored contents in the table 4A with a printer 9B it can be presented as the evidence of prank calls.
