PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw ball which can simplify an assembling work of a seal, achieve a low cost with high positioning precision and a desired seal clearance, and keep a suitable rotating torque in a long while. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a nut shaft 1 and a nut 2 which is fitted outside of this screw shaft 1, and also provides a spiral groove 3 which is equipped in an outer periphery of the screw shaft 1 and a plural number of ball between spiral grooves which are equipped in a inner periphery of the nut 2. A seal 4 is equipped at the both ends of the nut 2. This seal 4 has a spiral projection 5 in its inside to be hooked to a groove 3 of the screw shaft 1, and it confronts to the groove 3 with a slight clearance to constitute a non- contact seal. This seal 4 is plastically deformed and a projection 9 formed by this plastic deformation is contact bonded to a seal groove 7 formed at the end of the nut 2 to position the seal 4 in the nut and fix it.
