PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive sheet free from defects such as a streak mark, cissing, shrinkage and sagging of liquid and having excellent productivity, and provide a method for the production of the sheet. SOLUTION: The adhesive sheet is composed of a surface substrate, an adhesive layer composed of an aqueous emulsion adhesive having a surface tension of 35-60 dyne/cm at 20 deg.C and 65% relative humidity and a viscosity of 50-500 mPa.s measured at 23 deg.C by a Brookfield viscometer using a #2 spindle at a rotational speed of 60 rpm and a releasing sheet. These layers are laminated in the order.
