PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garnish structure which improves the stable relaxation of a shock compatively with the visibility and getting-on/off characteristics. SOLUTION: A garnish 11 covering the cabin inner surface of a pillar is set to a pillar 1 at least at both ends 11a, 11b so as to form a closed section part W between pillar inner panels 5. A shock absorbing body 101 comprises a top part 103 formed along the closed section part W in contact with or in proximity to the pillar inner panels 5 or the garnish 11, and a plurality of wall plate parts 105, 107, which are linearly installed upright in the direction intersecting the extending direction of the pillar 1 from the top part 103 and secured to the other pillar inner panels 5 or the garnish 11 to produce a desired repulsion corresponding to the movement of the garnish 11 toward the pillar 1 side.
