PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide n a dryer canvas for a papermaking machine, which makes improving effect on stain resistance further effective and maintaining stain prevention effect for a long period of time. SOLUTION: Hundred percent porous yarn, a twisted yarn composed of the porous yarn and another yarn or a covered yarn are used as warps 11 and wefts 12 (13, 14 and 15) in warps 18 and/or a weft 13 at the side 16 to be brought into contact with paper. A synthetic fiber monofilament is used in wefts 14 and 15 and warps 11 and 19 except the weft 13 at a side 16 to be brought into contact with paper and a resin having excellent water repellency and oil repellency is adsorbed on the warps 18 and/or the weft 13 at the side 16 to be brought into contact with paper.
