PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optically polymerizable dental coating composition which is sufficiently cured by irradiating visible lights when coated on the surface of a dental resin such as a crown restoring material, a dental filler, a resin for artificial tooth and denture base and the like, gives a smooth and colorless and transparent hardened surface after curing and can form a film excellent in durability, abrasion resistance and discoloration resistance. SOLUTION: This optically polymerizable dental composition comprises a volatile (meth)acrylate compound, a polyfunctional acrylate which is a crosslinking agent, a (meth)acrylate compound containing a fluoroalkyl group constituted of at least one fluorocarbon for improving durability, abrasion resistance, discoloration resistance after curing and an acylphosphine oxide-based polymerization initiator having high accelerating effect for polymerizing the monomer and leaving no yellowness in the composition.
