PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical drive wheel at a very low cost by reducing the annular diameter and increasing the width of bearings to be used, which allows JIS standard parts to be used, for reduction in the part cost of the bearings without the influence on the production cost. SOLUTION: The upper part 1a of a spherical wheel 1 is supported by a top part support roller 2, the outer peripheral part 1b of the spherical wheel 1 is supported by a plurality of outer peripheral part support rollers 3 at intervals in circumferential direction, the outer peripheral part support rollers 3 are rotatably held at the lower end of a generally dome-shaped roller holding part 4 having a small diameter opening part 4a at the upper part thereof, and the small diameter opening part 4a of the roller holding body 4 is rotatably supported with the bearings 7 and rotatingly driven by a rotatingly driving source 5.
