CONSUMABLES ELECTRONIC COMMERCE METHOD, ELECTRONIC COMMERCE SYSTEM, AND SERVER FOR ELECTRONIC COMMERCE

A server (4) connected to a user system (1) including apparatuses using consumables and a maker system (3) connected to the user system and adapted to perform electronic commerce. The server (4) collects use record data on the consumables from the states of the apparatuses (8−1 to 8−n), sends the data to the maker system (3), calculates the use prediction data on the basis of the user record data so as to use the use prediction data for production adjustment at the maker, and calculates the discount rates of the prices of the consumables of the user on the basis of the provision of the use record data on the consumables of the user. The user makes an electronic order to the maker and provides the record data and prediction data on the consumables to the maker. Therefore, the maker can do production adjustment depending on the data and can reduce the inventory of the consumables and materials, thus lowering the sales prices. Since the maker sets discount rates depending on the amount−of−data/quality/frequency as the incentive to provide such data, the maker can establishes an environment in which the user positively provides data of high accuracy. The maker can secure the amount and obtain data of high prediction accuracy.
