PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for turning in flaps of a corrugated cardboard box which enables full automation of turning-in of the flaps even in a state wherein a holding object is held and the flaps are erected. SOLUTION: In the method for turning in the erected flaps of the corrugated cardboard box wherein the holding object is held, in order to put the box in one body or to seal it with tapes, the corrugated cardboard box B1 or B2 in the state of the holding object being held and the flaps erected are carried in to a prescribed position with the flaps WF1 , WF2 , WF3 and WF4 on the width sides set longitudinally, and the flaps on the opposite width sides of the box are turned in simultaneously or individually by the rotation of cam means 14 and 15 which are fitted axially and disposed above the front and the rear of the box by the medium of horizontal rotating shafts 16 and 17. Then, the flaps LF1 , LF2 , LF3 and LF4 on the opposite length sides are turned in simultaneously or individually by the rotation of semicircular-screw-shaped turning-in means 22 which are fitted axially and disposed on the opposite sides of the front end part of the box by the medium of vertical rotating shafts 21.
