PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aluminum hydroxide which is pulverized to a single granular state without generation of unevenness of the particle surface, chipping of the particle, etc. SOLUTION: The purpose is solved by the manufacturing method for aluminum hydroxide that includes a process where the temperature of a slurry, which is prepared by suspending aluminum hydroxide obtained by a Bayer method, in a sodium aluminate solution is raised from <=70 to >=85 deg.C and a process where a centrifugal power is applied to the slurry. Besides, the time for raising the temperature of the slurry from <=70 to >=85 deg.C is made to be within 15 min.
